I’m a UX leader with 20 years of experience across graphic and UX design. I specialize in building thriving teams, coordinating complex initiatives across the enterprise, AI adoption and accessibility.

At symplr, the leader in enterprise healthcare operations software, I lead UX/UI, Research, Design Systems and Technical Writing across our SaaS products.

I was born and raised in Ireland and moved to Florida during high school. I studied Graphic Design at the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Business.

Senior Director of UX, symplr

2020 – present

Joined as Director of UX for Healthcare Compliance and Credentialing; now lead UX across the whole scope of symplr’s products. Directed integration of AI features into 4 existing products, extending the Alloy design system’s patterns and governance to keep the AI-augmented experience consistent.

Senior UX Designer, Web Marketing, Splunk

2018 – 2020

Led end-to-end UX design in Splunk’s Marketing team, from research and strategy to engineering handoff and analytics.

Director, Business Development, G-Able

2015 – 2018

Joined this major Thai IT firm in Bangkok as a Product Owner, trained the company’s first UX designers, and went on to lead UX and product ownership.

UX Designer & Manager, Arrow Digital

2012 – 2015

Supported sales, process development and creative direction for nationwide B2B and B2C clients from West Palm Beach.

Graphic & Web Designer

2006 – 2012

Graphic design, web design, and HTML/CSS coding and skinning for lead-generation and SEO firms in South Florida.

Outside of work
